Terms & Conditions: Synthesis Screening Fee

Safety remains our priority at Synthesis, therefore the Synthesis Therapy program requires a comprehensive screening process. The process includes 1-1 screening calls with our Synthesis therapy team made up of psychiatrists, psychologists, psychotherapists, and medical professionals who are all leaders in the field of psychedelic therapy. 

Due to the comprehensive nature of this screening process, all applicants are required to pay a $500 screening fee upfront, which will be deducted from their retreat fee at the time of booking. If during the screening process we decide that it is not safe for an applicant to join, they will be refunded within seven working days. 

By paying the screening fee, the applicant consents to the following terms and conditions.

1. This health screening fee will be deducted from the retreat fee at time of booking.
2. The health screening fee is fully refundable if, at any point during the screening process, our clinical team or the applicant's psychiatrist or GP deems an applicant unsuitable.
3. The health screening fee is not refundable if;
   • An applicant withdraws from the screening process.
   • An applicant fails to attend the retreat.
   • An applicant is non-responsive to correspondence from Synthesis.
   • An applicant fails to attend three or more screening calls with our team. All applicants are given the opportunity to reschedule calls within 24hrs notice hours notice.
   • An applicant has not answered the health screener accurately and a contraindication is disclosed during either clinical consultations or from Synthesis liaising with the applicants health provider.
